What happens when you mix a dash of OCD and a CD brimming with ADHD? This project.
In an attempt to get the attention of a personal hero in the industry, I wanted to do something to get noticed so I could eventually ask him for some career advice. Somewhere along the way, logic gave way to inspiration (and a photo of a kitten), and well, I’ll just let the video do the talking rather than try to explain what happened next. At the end of the day, I may not be able to make a huge difference in what’s happening in Ukraine right now but at the very least, I can hopefully lend some brevity and inspiration to those leading the good fight.

Ok, so there’s a really creative agency out there with an ECD that I really admire. You’ve definitely heard of them both. They have a page on their site with a cat (see below). It has no reason to be there as there are zero other cats on the site. Was this a test? It has to be a test. It’s superfluous (love that word) and I needed to know why it was put in the corner of that page. I don’t know why, my brain gets weird sometimes. That’s when things started to fly off the rails. Fast forward to my conversation with said creative hero many months later, “So, what’s the deal with the cat?” I asked and the response I got? “I just thought it was a cute stock photo of a cat.” This industry is wild.
